This month, Christians around the world will celebrate Christ’s resurrection on Easter Sunday. Because of you, Christian professors around the world are being equipped to share the good news of Christ’s victory over sin and death. Thank you!

God is at work in powerful ways. Global Scholars professors have unique open doors to share Christ, and not just in the university classroom. Professors with children often build relationships with other families from their children’s schools and activities. Alex and Megan experienced this with their daughter Lily’s friend Isabela.

Alex and Megan write:

Isabela is Lily’s best friend from school. “Can you tell me the story of Jesus Christ?” she asked one evening when we were having dinner at their house.  Her family is not Christian, but her parents encouraged her to ask Megan because they said Megan would be able to answer her questions. She has been very curious lately.

Megan replied, “Of course! What do you know about Jesus?” Isabela said she didn’t know anything about Jesus but wanted to know everything.

And so, with contributions from our kids, Megan told Isabela and her sister all about Jesus, starting with Gabriel visiting Mary through Jesus dying on the cross because God loves us so much and wants us to be with him, to Jesus not staying dead but being stronger than death. Megan explained that if we believe in him and trust that we need Jesus, we can be with God.

Megan and Alex gave Isabela’s family a copy of The Jesus Storybook Bible in the local language. Please pray that Isabela and her whole family will embrace the truth about Jesus.

As you celebrate Easter this month, join me in praising God for his work around the world! He is opening doors so that people like Isabela and her family can hear and understand the life-changing message of Christ’s death and resurrection.

Thank you for being part of this ministry. Christ is risen!

For Christ and the university,

Stan

On this episode of the College Faith podcast, we discuss how to transition well after college. My guest is Jon Steele, host of the After IV podcast, where he interviews guests on this very topic. So I’ve invited him to summarize what he is learning from guests on this important life transition.

In this episode of the Thinking Christianly podcast, we continue our series by engaging Chapter 5 of my new book Have We Lost Our Minds? Neuroscience, Neurotheology, the Soul, and Human Flourishing. We discuss what makes human consciousness unique, how studies on near-death experiences help us understand the nature of the soul, and more.

Our April prayer calendar is now posted on our website. Download the prayer calendar to pray for professors, students, and current needs in higher education.

As a parent or grandparent, you might worry about how college life will affect your child or grandchild’s faith. It’s a common concern—and for good reason.

College can be a time of spiritual growth or struggle. The good news? There are ways to help students thrive both spiritually and academically. You can play a key role in encouraging your child or grandchild to love God with their whole heart and mind.

That’s why I’d love for you to join me and the Global Scholars Leadership Team on April 28 for a live online free event. We’ll talk about how students can grow strong in their faith during college, even when the challenges are tough.
