Keith Campbell, Ph.D.

Dr. Keith Campbell is Vice President of Program Development with Global Scholars. Before joining the Global Scholars Executive Team in 2014, Keith taught four years as Visiting Lecturer of New Testament at Shanghai Normal University in Shanghai, China, and two years as Adjunct Instructor of New Testament and Theology at Malaysia Baptist Theological Seminary in Beijing, China as a Fellow with Global Scholars. He holds a Ph.D. from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he studied under Andreas J. Köstenberger.

Keith’s research interests include biblical lament and missiology. His publications in lament studies include Of Heroes and Villains: The Influence of the Psalmic Lament on Gospel Characterization (Wipf & Stock, 2013) and “Lament in James and its Significance for the Church” (JETS 2017). His contributions to missiology include The Outrageous Idea of the Missional Professor: International Edition (with Paul M.Gould, et al.) (Verlag für Kultur und Wissenschaft, 2019) and “The American Evangelical Academy and the World: A Challenge to Practice More Globally” (JETS 2013).

Keith lives with his wife, Rhonda, in the mountains of North Carolina.
