Stan Wallace, D.Min.

Dr. Stan Wallace serves as the President and CEO of Global Scholars. He began serving in ministry with Campus Crusade for Christ (now Cru) in 1985, initially ministering to students and then faculty on university campuses in the U.S. In 1999, he founded Cru’s Academic Initiative in order to aid faculty in integrating biblical truth into their research, publishing and teaching. In 2001, he joined InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA’s Graduate Student & Faculty Ministries, serving as National Director of Faculty Ministry. During this time he also established the Emerging Scholars Network to help students prepare to serve Christ as university professors. He joined Global Scholars as Executive Vice President in 2010, and was appointed President and CEO in 2014. Beyond his work with Global Scholars he also serves as a Co-catalyst of the Lausanne Movement’s Academic Ministries and Educators Network (AMEN), a global community of academic ministry leaders.

Stan holds a BS in Secondary Education from Miami University, an MA in Philosophy and Ethics for Talbot School of Theology, Biola University (summa cum laude) and a Doctor of Ministry in “Engaging Mind and Culture,” also from Talbot School of Theology, Biola University, where he studied under Dr. J.P. Moreland. He has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in philosophy, apologetics, ethics and Christian thought, as well as published in professional and ministry journals, contributed to several books and edited several others on these subjects. He is currently working on a book discussing the relationship between neuroscience and the soul, due out the summer of 2024.

Stan and his wife, Lori, live in Olathe, KS. They have four children — two daughters and two sons. Stan is passionate about playing, watching and discussing all things football as well as enjoying time with his family, reading, doing home improvement projects and traveling.
