Our standards are reviewed and verified regularly by various agencies:

• Global Scholars has been a member in good standing of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) since 1989.
• Global Scholars earned the Platinum Seal of Transparency from GuideStar, the world’s largest source of nonprofit information, which was earned through providing extensive information about our organization including, in-depth financial information, quantitative information about our goals, strategies, and progress towards our mission.
• We are audited annually by RubinBrown LLC, an independent accounting agency.

Global Scholars is governed by a qualified Board of Directors who meet regularly to establish policies that enable the organization to fulfill its purpose responsibly and with integrity. The Global Scholars Board operates under the Policy Governance® model of governance.

Global Scholars has no debt. We do not borrow money but trust in God’s provision to accomplish His will.

We honor your preferences for the use of gifts as much as possible while maintaining prayerful control of all gifts in accordance with the ministry purposes of the organization and IRS regulations. In the event that a project becomes fully funded, remaining funds will be used for a similar project if at all possible. A small percentage of each gift is used for the administration of the project.

As a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, contributions to the ministry are tax- deductible to the full extent allowable by law.
